In anticipation of this, it doesn't make much sense to have any dollar denominated investments,i.e.(gold CD's, Japanese REITS, etc.). So, now where are we, as simple citizens, trying to preserve our hard earned wealth? Should we take our money and buy and take delivery of gold, and just hang on? It sounds like anything we have, that is denominated in dollars, is too risky in light of the governments' headlong destruction of the dollar. Why should we invest in anything except real gold?
